Kaitiaki is the third and final piece of the Ngā Manu series by Artemis Toi.
It depicts the Pīwakawaka, with designs that reference this birds place as a kaitiaki or guardian of our people. Pīwakawaka carry much significance for Māori, and are often seen as travelling spiritis who bring messages from beyond our world.
This work celebrates Pīwakawaka as a protecter, designed to watch over us and keep us safe.
'Kaitiaki' is available in size A5, A4, and A3. This print is made to order, so please allow an extra 2-3 business days for your order to be ready. All prints are available as print only, and do not include a frame.
